| Posted : 10 Feb 2020 - 21:37 Post title : Aftermarket Headlighs | | Was at a chaity run over the weekend, saw a couple of blacked-out headlights that might appeal to certain anonymous members here (AZ?) who are after the all-black look. (I have a chrome 6.5" Buffalo headlamp assembly from Dime City Cycles, FWIW.)
This LED setup probably doesn't need reflectors. Black bucket, rim and front-facing surfaces appear to be powder-coated.
Is a tinted lens over headlight a good idea? Must dim output some, but it's certainly all black.
And, for the Indian owners among us (run originated at an Indian dealership), saw this little guy in showroom.

I cut up mine, needed the OEM bracket for the aftermarket bucket.
Good luck in your search.

I don't know your setup but a larger bucket (more light, better look) is the way to go imo. Aftermarket buckets come in chrome too.

The stock mount is best I've seen, well worth the trouble. Nicely done! Can't get away with that in chrome world (thought I'd say it before you do ;-). LEDs should make bucket size unimportant since you're not needing a reflector, but I have another reason to go back to stock from my 6.5" - hoping to get headlight out of the shot from dashcam. Complete stock setup is hard to find.
